Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 28, 2026

DIFT Lifestyle (trading as "DIFT Sportswear," "DIFT," "we," "us," or "our") operates thedift.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have, wherever in the world you’re visiting from.

SECTION 1 ‐ WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

When you purchase something from our store, we collect the personal information you give us, such as your name, address, email address, and phone number.

When you browse our Site, we also automatically receive general technical information (like your browser and device type) to help us understand how our Site is used.

Email marketing: With your permission, we may send you emails about early access, new drops, and other updates.

SECTION 2 ‐ CONSENT

How do you get my consent?

When you provide personal information to complete a purchase, verify payment, arrange delivery, or process a return, we imply that you consent to us collecting and using it for that specific purpose. If we ask for your information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we’ll ask for your express consent or give you a clear way to say no.

How do I withdraw my consent?

If you change your mind after opting in, you may withdraw consent for us to contact you, or for continued collection or use of your information, at any time by contacting us at support@thedift.com.

SECTION 3 ‐ DISCLOSURE

We may disclose your personal information if required by law, or if you violate our Terms of Service.

SECTION 4 ‐ HOSTING & PAYMENT

Our Site runs on WordPress with WooCommerce as our e-commerce platform. Payments are processed securely through Paystack and Flutterwave. We do not store your card details on our own servers; they’re handled directly by these payment processors under their own security standards (PCI-DSS compliant).

Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as necessary to complete and support your order (e.g. for refunds, warranty, or legal record-keeping).

SECTION 5 ‐ THIRD‐PARTY SERVICES

Third-party providers we use (payment processors, shipping partners, email tools) only collect, use, and disclose your information to the extent needed to perform their service for us. We recommend reviewing their own privacy policies for full detail.

If your transaction involves a provider located in a different country than you, your information may become subject to that jurisdiction’s laws.

Links: once you leave our Site, including by clicking a social media icon, you’re no longer covered by this Privacy Policy. We aren’t responsible for the privacy practices of other sites.

SECTION 6 ‐ SECURITY

We take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. While no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, checkout data is encrypted in transit and payment handling follows PCI-DSS standards through our payment processors.

SECTION 7 ‐ COOKIES & TRACKING

We use Burst Statistics, a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool, to understand how visitors use our Site (pages viewed, general location by country, device type). This does not use tracking cookies and does not identify you personally.

We plan to use the Meta Pixel and Google Ads conversion tracking to measure and improve our advertising. These tools use cookies to track visits and actions after you click an ad. These cookies will only be set with your consent, collected via a cookie banner, and you can withdraw consent anytime through the banner’s preferences.

SECTION 8 ‐ YOUR RIGHTS

If you are located in the UK or EU, under UK GDPR / EU GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to withdraw consent for cookies/tracking at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email support@thedift.com. We’ll respond within 30 days.

SECTION 9 ‐ AGE OF CONSENT

By using this Site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your country or region of residence, or that you have your parent’s or guardian’s consent to use this Site if you are a minor dependent.

SECTION 10 ‐ CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this policy at any time; changes take effect immediately upon posting. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision. If we make material changes, we’ll make that clear here.
